From Files — tap Import music on the Home screen and pick songs or entire folders. AirDrop — send songs from a Mac, iPad or another iPhone and choose Resona. From your Mac — connect your iPhone, open it in Finder, go to the Files tab and drag your music into Resona.
Which formats are supported?
MP3, M4A / AAC, FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF. Lossless files are kept exactly as they are — Resona never re-encodes them.
Why does a song show “Unknown Artist” or the wrong title?
That information comes from the tags stored inside the file. When tags are missing, Resona falls back to the file name and understands the common “Artist - Title” pattern. You can correct anything yourself: long-press a song and choose Edit Info. This only updates your library — the audio file is never modified.
Does Resona need an internet connection?
Never. Resona makes no network connections at all and behaves identically in airplane mode. It also means there's nothing to download inside the app — you bring your own music.
Where are my files stored?
Imported songs are copied into Resona's own folder on your iPhone, and they stay on your device. Deleting the app removes them, so keep your originals backed up somewhere.
How do I use the equalizer or change playback speed?
Play a song, open the full Now Playing screen, then tap the sliders icon in the bottom row. You'll find a 10-band equalizer with nine presets, plus playback speed from 0.5× to 2×. Both settings are remembered between sessions.
Can music keep playing when the screen is locked?
Yes. Playback continues in the background, and you can control it from the Lock Screen, Control Center, AirPods, or your car. Resona pauses politely for calls and resumes afterwards.
How do I free up space?
Long-press any song and choose Delete from Library to remove it along with its file. Settings shows how many songs you have and how much space they take.
