Privacy Policy

Data we collect

None. Resona has no user accounts, no analytics, and no servers operated by the developer. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.

Network access

Resona makes no network connections at all. It does not stream, download, phone home, or check for anything online. The app behaves identically in airplane mode.

What is stored on your device

• The music files you import are copied into Resona's own folder on your iPhone.
• Your library index — titles, artists, albums, genres, play counts and favorites — is stored locally using Apple's SwiftData.
• Album artwork found inside your files is cached locally so lists load quickly.
• Your settings, such as theme, equalizer and playback position, are stored in local app preferences.

All of it stays inside the app's sandbox on your device. Deleting Resona removes all of it.

Third parties

Resona contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Nothing about you is shared with anyone, because nothing about you ever leaves your iPhone.

Your music

Resona plays audio files that you import yourself. It provides no way to download or obtain music from the internet. You are responsible for having the right to the files you add to your library.

Children's privacy

Resona is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Resona's privacy-first design will not change.
